This course is designed to equip budtenders in adult-use cannabis states with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their role. The course covers the science of cannabis, customer service, and salesmanship, with a focus on providing an excellent customer experience while recommending products based on customer needs and known science. The course also provides strategies for increasing dispensary profit through product sell-through.
Alexandra Arnett:
Alexandra earned her Master of Science in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She also has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Oregon. Alexandra spent five years in the Oregon cannabis industry working in retail as a budtender and store manager. She has also done content creation and social media management for cannabis educational companies.
Nansea Floyd:
Nansea is a highly motivated and values-driven professional hailing from Ohio. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ohio University, Nansea began her career as a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating a thriving Transportation and Logistics company that expanded to 43 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. In 2018, Nansea shifted her focus to the cannabis industry and has since become an accomplished Budtender. Nansea is a passionate advocate for the benefits of cannabis and is currently residing in South Florida, where she continues to champion the cause.
